What is CREST Reasoning Olympiad?

The CREST Reasoning Olympiad (CRO) is an international competitive exam held online for students in Grades 1-10. There will be only one level for all the classes. The exam is an objective-type test that the students need to complete in 60 minutes. Last date to register for the exam before December. Level 1 exam will be held on 09th January 2027 & 19th January 2027.

The students studying in classes 1-10 are eligible to participate in the CREST Reasoning Olympiad.

How To Register For CREST Reasoning Olympiad?

Registration of Students Through Schools:
Students from classes 1-10 are eligible to take CREST Reasoning Olympiad. Prospectus containing the registration forms are sent to all schools registered with CREST Olympiads for Reasoning Olympiad. If your school is not registered with us, then please send an email to info@crestolympiads.com and we will send you the prospectus soon. It is mandatory for schools to return the registration forms to CREST Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.

Registration For Individual Participants:
If your school does not conduct Reasoning Olympiad, then you can register as an individual participant as well.

Syllabus of CREST Reasoning Olympiad

The CREST Reasoning Olympiad is a new and unique way of enhancing students’ reasoning capabilities. Reasoning skill is always considered to be a prime factor of importance in most competitive exams. CRO exam examines students’ ability to analyze and make decisions logically.

Just like other skills, students can improve and develop their reasoning ability. The syllabus for the CREST Reasoning Olympiad is differently set for each class with a slight increase in difficulty. The exam majorly covers areas like patterns, geometric shapes, analogy, spatial understanding, coding-decoding and many more such topics.

As we read above, the CRO question paper is divided into 2 sections. Each section has a different marking scheme. The marking scheme varies for each class.

a. For grades 1-4, the total weightage of the paper is 45 marks.
b. For grades 5-10, the total weightage of the paper is 60 marks.

Prizes of CREST Reasoning Olympiad

There are prizes for top 50% of the students with top scores. CREST Olympiads recognize students with Merit Certificates, Trophies, Medals, ‘Honorable mention’ Digital Certificates, etc. for their top performance in the examination. Each participant is also given a digital participation certificate. Students can check Olympiad awards for CREST Olympiads.
