What is CREST International Spell Bee Summer Olympiad?
CREST International Spell Bee Summer is India’s first Online Spelling Assessment for classes KG-8 which assesses students on the basis of Meaning, Spelling and Pronunciation of the words in the English language (British English). Hence, it will help students to foster their lexical development which forms the basis of the English language. It is advisable to register for the exam before June.
Eligibility of CREST International Spell Bee Summer Olympiad
a. Students in grades KG-8 are eligible to take the examination.
b. Students studying in any Indian-recognized educational board, such as CBSE, ICSE, State Board and so on can register for the Spell Bee exam.
c. Students studying & residing outside of India are also eligible to take the exam.
d. Students from more than 60 nations take part in the CREST Olympiads exams.
Why CREST International Spell Bee Summer Olympiad?
** The importance of each and every word that we read or write on a daily basis in our day to day life is immense.
** Let’s say for instance someone asks you ‘woh tea ggnio’?, you will probably be very confused and won’t understand anything at all. This proves that without proper words, our life would be very difficult.
** These are the foundation of our language skills. Even though there isn’t a strong link between a word spelling and intelligence but spellings are essential to comprehend things. Knowing spellings is that one skill which stays with us for our entire life.
** We often make mistakes in confusing spellings like Accommodate, Misspell, Pronunciation, Calendar, Privilege, Embarrass and many more. Also, you must have observed that whenever our spelling is perfect, it is not seen by anyone but if the spelling is incorrect, it attracts flak.
** Hence, Spell Bee examinations are necessary to enhance a student’s vocabulary and making him/her capable of putting across his/her thoughts more clearly with uninvited advice.
How To Register For CREST International Spell Bee Summer Olympiad?
Registration of Students Through Schools:
Students from classes KG-8 are eligible to give CREST International Spell Bee. Prospectus containing the registration forms are sent to all schools registered with CREST Olympiads for Spell Bee exam. If your school is not registered with us, then please send an email to info@crestolympiads.com and we will send you the prospectus soon. It is mandatory for schools to return the registration forms to CREST Olympiads, duly filled in and complete in all respects by the due date.
Registration For Individual Participants:
If your school does not conduct Spell Bee, then you can register as an individual participant as well.
Prizes of CREST International Spell Bee Summer Olympiad
There are awards for the top 50% of the students participating in the CREST Olympiads exams. CREST Olympiads recognize students with Merit Certificates, Trophies, Medals, ‘Honorable mention’ Digital Certificates, etc. for their accomplishment in the CREST Olympiads exams. Each participant is also given a digital participation certificate. Students can check Olympiad awards for CREST Spell Bee Competition (CSB) by visiting the awards page on the website.
