What is redBus redStar Contest?

redBus redStar Contest 2026 s organised by MakeMyTrip (India) Limited. The contest is open to individuals resident in India who are aged 18 or over on the date of entry. By participating in this Contest by uploading any content using the designated Contest hashtag (#redStar), sending an Instagram collaboration request to [@redbus_in]. Winners may be offered a role in the redStar microdrama series. Last date of contest is 31st October 2026.

Eligibility of redBus redStar Contest

The contest is open to individuals resident in India who are aged 18 or over on the date of entry. Each participant must enter under their own genuine, verifiable social media account. Joint entries, group submissions, or entries made on behalf of third parties are not permitted.

How To Enter in the redBus redStar Contest?

Follow the following steps to qualify for the big prize and become a redStar. Each participant can submit multiple reels based on their registration.

1. Submit your details on the form above and register.
2. Unlock your Creator Page and receive Content Briefs shared by redBus.
3. Create 60-90 second reels on any of the briefs, or for all of them. Get set, create.
4. Upload your reel on Instagram and then copy paste the reel link on the Reels tab of your profile page.
5. Get an overview of your reels’ performance on your profile page. Stay tuned to find out if you make the cut.
6. Don’t stress for views, likes & followers. Just try & have fun

Entry Requirements:
1. Entries must be the Participant’s original work and must not infringe any third party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, moral rights, or publicity rights.

2. The entry must not contain any unauthorized Generative AI-created synthetic media, voice clones, or deepfakes that simulate or imitate any living or deceased individual without express legal authority.

3. Entries must not contain unlicensed music, footage or third-party brand marks. Participants must only use: (i) completely original music/audio created by the Participant; or (ii) certified royalty-free/creative commons audio for which the Participant holds commercial exploitation and sub-licensing rights.

4. Entries must not contain content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, political or religiously sensitive, or that promotes unsafe travel behaviour.

5. The participant must have consent from every identifiable person who appears in the entry. If any individual depicted in the entry is under 18 (eighteen) years of age, the Participant must have secured prior written, verifiable consent and release from the minor’s parent or lawful guardian.

The Top 5 winners may be offered a role in the redStar microdrama series, along with [other rewards, if any].

Selection of redBus redStar Contest

The selection process shall be executed in the following progressive stages:
(i) Stage 1 (Top 200): Initial filtration of all valid entries down to a shortlist of 200 (two hundred) participants;
(ii) Stage 2 (Top 50): Secondary evaluation down to a shortlist of 50 (fifty) participants; and
(iii) Stage 3 (Top 5): Final selection of the 5 (five) Participants will proceed to the collaboration stage.
