Xmas Contest T&C:

1) “Lava festive contest” is an online contest organized by LAVA International Limited and will be valid from 23rd December, 2015 to 7th January, 2016 (both days inclusive)

Winners will get shopping vouchers of Flipkart, worth Rs. 2000 each

2) To enter the contest you must be :
a. Citizen of India and resident of India at the time of entry
b. At least 18 years old or over at the time of entry

3) Employees or immediate family members & relatives of Lava International Limited and its affiliates & subsidiaries are NOT eligible to participate in the contest.

4) The mechanics of the contest are as follows:
a. Participants will have to nominate someone for the voucher with a reason of nominating the person
b. The nomination will be done using the #FestiveWithLAVA and a picture on twitter or Facebook
c. The picture needs to be of the participant alone with the nominee, with a reason stating why should the voucher be given to them
d. Each participant can nominate only one person
e. The usage of Hashtag & sharing the reason is mandatory
f. The best pic with the best reason will lead to the gratification of both ‘the nominee’ as well as ‘the participant’
g. Out of the total number of entries received, only two entries will be gratified (selected as per our discretion), i.e. there will be four winners in total (two participants along with their nominees)

5) The winners of the Contest will receive the following prize:
a. Winners will be declared at the end of the day of the contest, on our Facebook and twitter pages
b. Winners will get shopping vouchers of Flipkart, worth Rs. 2000 each

6) LAVA International Limited reserves the right to disqualify, any Participant and/or revoke or forfeit any prizes at any stage of the contest with or without a prior notice at its sole discretion if:-
a. Entry is incomplete and/or failure to fulfill and/or comply with all or any of the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein and any applicable rules and regulations.
b. Breach of any of the Terms and Conditions or other rules and regulations of the Contest or violates any applicable laws or regulations;

c. LAVA International Limited has, at its sole discretion, any reason whatsoever to believe that such Eligible Participant has attempted to undermine the operation of the Contest in any way whatsoever, including but not limited to fraud, cheating or deception. Notwithstanding the above, LAVA International Limited shall at its sole and absolute discretion disqualify any participation at any stage of the Contest and forfeit any prizes for any reason as it deems fit and reasonable with or without a prior notice.

7) LAVA International Limited’ decision on matters relating to the Contest (including, but not limited to the selection of the winners) shall be final and absolute. No discussion, correspondence, enquiry, appeal or challenge by any of the Participants in respect of any decision of LAVA International Limited shall be entertained.

8) Prizes must be collected in accordance with the mode and within a time period which will be specified by LAVA International Limited, at its sole and absolute discretion, upon notification of any winnings. Failure to adhere to the mode of collection and within the stipulated time period will result in forfeiture of the prizes and the winner shall have no claim whatsoever against LAVA International Limited, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of LAVA International Limited.

9) The reward cannot be sold, exchanged, converted, transferred, auctioned assigned in favour of other, or combined with any goods, cash, person or scheme respectively in any circumstances.
10) LAVA International Limited shall not be liable for any disruption to the contest, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond its reasonable control.

11) LAVA International Limited, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, retailers, distributors, dealers as well as its advertising, creative, media, digital, design and other creative agencies of LAVA International Limited, shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to loss of opportunities and any indirect or consequential losses) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with or arising from either participation in this contest or with any of the Prizes offered or forfeited.

12) The Terms and Conditions of the contest shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

13) All rights and privileges herein granted to LAVA International Limited are irrevocable and not subjected to rescission, restraint or injunction under any and all circumstances. Under no circumstances shall the Eligible Participants have the right to injunctive relief or to restrain or otherwise interfere with the organization of the contest, the production, distribution, exhibition and/or exploitation of the Contest and/or any product based on and/or derived from the Contest.

14) All personal data collected will only be used for the purposes in relation to the performance of the Contest and not for any other purposes. The Participant hereby consents that their personal data may be used, published and circulated for marketing and promotional purposes in relation to this Contest.

15) LAVA International Limited reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions with or without any prior notice. It is a candidate’s responsibility to check regularly, in order to ascertain if any changes have been made to these Terms and Conditions.
