CES International Short-Film Festival :

** Children’s development and nurture is our great concern, children at teenage undergo physiological and psychological changes;

** this turning age factor in teens is an important period of various trauma and miss guidance.
** CES being an academic institute is committed to help its students and their parents in addressing problems of this age over the various developments across the past 100 years, and the future generations and time to come.
** CES’s international film festival has set ‘TEENS TRAUMA’ as the base theme.

The Festival :
** The mission of the CES International Short Film Festival is to celebrate and encourage aspiring independent and student filmmakers.
** A Jury screening is organized.

Rules and Regulations :

Eligibility :
** CES International Film Festival is a juried competition, open to any independent or student filmmaker worldwide.
** Works will be considered for competition only if they are of a total running time of 20 minutes or less, and is completed before 15 Dec. 2015.
** The Festival committee reserves the right to determine the eligibility of eachproject.
** All qualified entries must be independently produced and financed.
** Films produced, financed or developed by a major film studio or television network are ineligible for competition.

Submissions :
** Films can be submitted to CES either directly by mail (DVD), transferred digitally via the festival WeTransfer link.
** To transfer your film and all required information digitally visit wetransfer.com
** Follow the instructions on the platform to upload using the recipient email id cesfilmfest@cesociety.in
** You can upload multiple files in single transfer. You will receive an automatic email confirming that your file was successfully transferred. Please upload the appropriate completed and scanned entry form as well.
** To submit your film as a DVD screener through the mail
** Please ship your screener DVD in a bubble-pack envelope.
** Receipt of your entry is acknowledged by email to the address listed on your entry form.

Last Date :
** The Last Date (postmark) for DVD entries is 10 Dec, 2015.
** The Last Date for all uploaded entries is 15 Dec, 2015.
** Selection Status of Applicants will be notified on 16 January 2016 in the contest section of CES website

Judging :
** Entries are pre-screened by the Festival Selection Committee.
** This panel selects thirty films from the submission field.
** A distinct Official Jury shall judge the screening and award the festival’s cash prizes.

Awards :

** All awards shall be presented by bank transfer after declaration of the results on the event in the contest section of CES website cesociety.in and the winners will also be notified by the email stated in the participation form.
** The winners will need to provide their receiving Bank details along with a residency certificate to enable transfer of funds.
** The prize money value will be considered based on the international exchange value equivalent to Indian Rupee at the time of transfer.

Prizes :
First Prize: 50,000 Indian National Rupees
Second Prize: 25,000 Indian National Rupees
** All Selected Participants Shall receive a downloadable certificate which shall be emailed to them.

Screening Theater :
** All screenings for the CES International Short Film Festival are presented digitally, with a state-of-the-art digital projection system
