Short Film Contest :

1: Short IS GOOD : Shorter is better.
** Short Films must be within 15 minutes,i.e from the beginning of film to end of credits.

2: Keep it clean.
** FAMILY-FRIENDLY CONTENT : Since we donot restrict our viewing audience , all contents of the submitted films should “FAMILY FRIENDLY”: entries with vulgarity,excessive violence,blood and gore, profanity,nudity, crudity and any other questionable content WILL NOT be considered for our competition.

** We reserve the right to refuse any entry which we feel is not consistent with the purpose of our COMPETITION.

3: Film genres.
** Swachh Bharat.
** Orphanage & Old-age Home.
** Child Abusing.
** History & Mystery of Kolkata.

4: Submit Your own film.
** ORIGINALWORK : Film Competition entrants must submit the material that has been created by YOU , or your team.
** Any copied content will not be considered .
** Animatedshortfilms are accepted too.

5: Recently produced or remixed.
** Films must be produced recently or if older , re-edited for freshness and relevance.
** Subtitles in English should be given.

6:Usage Rights .
** By submitting your work, you agree to allow us to show it on offline medium in a format and manner solely decided by us.

7: it’s NatioNal/local.
** Entrants have to a citizen of India /resident or at least a part-year resident and have an address in West Bengal.

Everyone says ” Ignorance is Bliss ” , but someone wiser said ” Ignorance is the most violent element of society. ” Knowledge is the ultimate euphoria . The more we know , the crazier we look.

What does it take to blend intelligence with leadership? What does it take to become a pioneer of a daring escapade? What does it take to launch a firework that attracts ire and critical condescension from every corner? Our techfest! We being the major reformers form a faction , who are ready to take up these challenges and exterminate skepticism.

Tesseract is a four-dimensional analog of a cube, and so is the world, a congregation of space and time. Henceforth we declare the maiden annual technology fest of Guru Nanak Institute of Technology with chivalry and humility, TESSERACT 2017, to be held on two consecutive days, 16th and 17th of February.

We have an assortment of some exhilarating events which is bound to grab your attention and pull you towards enthusiastic and innovative participation. We believe in making everything uncomplicated for you, proving to be an extreme learning experience, helping you in different spheres of this competitive life.

Our vision is simple “If you have fire in your belly to achieve the excellent , no hurdle can exacerbate your ambitions. ” On an ending note , do not forget the theme of our event “IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS , KNOWLEDGE IS”.
