JAS Jewellery Design Competition :

The JAS-17 Jewellery Design Competition desires to Show the new design possibilities in fusion of Kundan Meena with Diamonds and Colored Stones.

The Jewellers Association Jaipur is organizing JAS Jewellery Design Competition. The aim of the competition is to promote Rajasthan’s famous Jewellery style Kundan Meena including Polki Diamond and Colored Stones with the fusion of full cut diamonds depicting the theme Kundan Meena – Adorn The Art for the domestic market

Theme :
The theme of the competition is “Kundan Meena – adorn the art”

Wedding Jewellery (For Jewellers) :
Bridal Necklace Set using Diamond Polki/Rose Cut with full Cut/Single Cut Diamonds with Color Gem Stone and Enamelling.

Eligibility: Only for Jewellers.

Entry Fee:
Each entry shall be paid in Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- in favor of Jewellers Association Show, Payable at Jaipur.

Preliminary Selection:
The participant will send the photographs of the jewellery with two views (Front & Back) in 8”X10” inches size before 10th August, 2017 at JAS Jewellery Design Awards, JAS 17, Jewellers Association Show, 252, Johari Bazar, Jaipur, (Please keep a copy of the design entry with you).

Final Selection:
The selected design by the jury panel will be intimated for sending the manufactured jewellery piece. The insured jewellery piece of the selected design should reach at JAS office before 18th August, 2017 with prior intimation.

** 2nd Prize – Trophy & Certificate
** 3rd Prize – Trophy & Certificate

Participation Criteria (Rules & Regulations) :
1. Prototype pieces need to be submitted by self/courier/registered post at JAS office.
2. Plagiarized designs and any pieces found to be submitted for any other jewellery design awards will be disqualified immediately. Jury’s decision will be final and binding.
3. An applicant can submit maximum of three sketches in the respective participating category but the applicant needs to fill up separate forms and pay individual entry fees.
4. An applicant can participate in 3 participating categorized if eligible but the applicant needs to fill up separate forms & pay individual entry fees.
5. The sketch should be made on and A4 size sheet and mounted on thick card paper. Please do not frame or laminate the sketch.
6. The sketch would have ONLY the participating line on top front, other information i.e. description of the jewellery in maximum 50 words, details of the materials used along with your name, contact details etc. Should be on the reverse side of the designs.
7. Scanned or emailed sketches will not be accepted.
8. Each entry fee shall be paid through Demand Draft of Rs. 1500 (for Jewellers), Rs. 1000 (for Design Professionals & Artisans) Rs. 400 (for Students) Rs. 1000 (for Open to All) in favor of Jewellers Association Show, Payable at Jaipur.
9. Completely filled entry form, designed sketch, DD, a copy of I-Card (for students issued by Institute), individual ID proof (for Professionals & Open to All) and company’s business card (for Jewellers) is mandatory to be submitted.
