School Level Painting Competition :

a. School Level Painting Competition 2017 Group ‘A” (4th , 5th & 6th standard students), Group “B” (7th, 8th & 9th standard students) has been launched in all the States/UT through an advertisement in the print media by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, Govt. of India.

b. School Principals are requested to organize painting competition of 2 hours duration at their respective Schools. Students can use any size of paper preferably A4 size (210mmx297mm) drawing sheet.

c. The children can use Pencil, Crayons, Pencil Colours & Water Colours. The children may consider the following points while painting.
** Relevance of the theme depicting the selected topic
** Execution of concept / theme.
** Overall visual appeal, handling of given space and use of appropriate Colour combination.

d. The respective school Principals will conduct the Painting competition for both A and B Groups separately at the school level.
e. School principals will send the 2 best selected Paintings from Groups A and B separately to the Nodal Officer by 9th October, 2017.

f. School Principals to send the consolidated information about total participation of students for both A and B Groups separately at School level as per Annexure -2 at following address.

g. The back of the paintings should carry the following information:

h. All the participating students at School level painting competition will get a ‘Certificate of Participation’ and best 2 selected paintings will get ‘Certificate of Merit’ which will be signed by School Principal and Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power (Government of India).
i. Paintings not signed by the school principal or sent directly by student’s parents will not be accepted.
j. Paintings are to be sent only at the address of Nodal Officer and not on the addresses of Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE).

k. It is to be mentioned that those schools who would record 100% participation in the Group ‘A” (for the students of 4th , 5th & 6th standards) & Group “B” (7th,8th 9th standard students) at the School level Painting Competition, their names will be included in the Painting Competition booklet prepared by BEE.

l. The 1st /2nd/ 3rd Prize winners at State/UT level during the last two years (2015 & 16) of Group “A” and The 1st /2nd/ 3rd Prizes winners at State/UT level of previous year (2015 & 16) of Group “B” are not eligible to participate in this year i.e. 2017 competition.

But the Consolation Prize winners of State/UT level of both groups are eligible to participate but they would be considered for prizes only if they secure 1st /2nd/ 3rd position.
