Freelancer Contest Terms & Conditions :

By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions as set out below. This contest is conducted by PayPal Pte. Ltd. (“PayPal”).

Eligibility:
Participation in this contest is open to all citizens of India and permanent residents who are at least 18 years old and hold an active PayPal account in good standing (i.e. the not restricted or limited). The following persons and their immediate family members are not eligible: employees of PayPal and their relatives; and persons or employees of any company (including advertising and accounting agencies) which are directly or indirectly involved in carrying out of this contest.

Contest Period:
The Contest begins at [1:00AM IST] on [25th February 2016] and ends [11:59PM IST] on [31st May 2016].

How To Enter:
** Participants may enter the contest by logging into their PayPal account and completing the form on paypal.com/in/freelancer (“the Website“). To enter the first category, participants must submit in English ‘why they love being a #PayPalFreelancer’ in not more than 200 words (“Entry”).

** To enter the second category, participants must share their Entry on Twitter and/or Facebook using “#PayPalFreelancer” and tag a freelancer friend (Friend) .Participants must be the sole creators of an Entry submitted in this Contest.
** The Entry must be original; modifying, enhancing or altering a another person’s work does not qualify as an entrant’s original creation and will be disqualified from the Contest.
** Each online entry shall be subject to verification by PayPal, its representatives and/or its authorized agents. A participant can enter the first and/or second category only once.

Prizes:
There are 4 prizes to be won. Each entry will be eligible to win the prize and will receive a iPad mini, 16GB or equivalent each from PayPal. Prize must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed.The Prize is subject to the terms and conditions. No compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the Prize

Judging:
** The winners will be selected based the originality and creativity of the submitted content on the participant’s chosen social media network (Facebook or Twitter), as judged by a PayPal employee and/or an authorised representative of PayPal by [15th June] 2016.

** For submission on social media networks, the participant’s content must be publicly accessible to be judged. Decisions of PayPal are final and binding, without right of appeal, in all matters relating to the judging and the contest generally.

Announcement:
** If you win, you will be notified by email by 30th Jun 2016. Winners must accept and collect the Prize offered at the date, time and venue notified to them. Should a winner not accept the Prize after 1 month of notification or does not respond to PayPal notifications, PayPal reserves the right to select and announce an alternate winner for the Prize.

** The winner must produce the following documents to PayPal or its authorized representative for inspection when collecting prizes couriered/emailed to their collection/email address provided: the email notification notifying the participants that they have won; and a set of his/her proof of identity document such as passport.

License To Use:
By entering, each participant grants to PayPal an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable license of unlimited right, title and interest in and to his/her Entry, including, but not limited to, all copyright and trademark rights therein and thereto and all renewals and extensions thereof, throughout the universe, in perpetuity, for all purposes, in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised.
