Categories:

** Competition section (5 minute Short film)
** Documentary Film ( non Competition only for screening)
** Feature film ((non Competition only for screening)

Theme of the competition section :-
“Youth in today’s society” in context of Arunachal Pradesh

Duration of competition section :- 5 minutes including title.

Format of the film to be submitted :-
On DVD in the MPEG2/MPEG4 format only

Best Entries (competition category):
** Best entries : Trophy & Certificate
** 2nd Runners Up : Trophy & Certificate
** Entries (others category)
** Best entries : Memento & Participation Certificate
** 2nd Runners Up : Memento & Participation Certificate
** Selection Committee & Jury.

There will be two separate committees. One committee will select films both documentary & feature for screening while other will adjudge and recommend the entries of short films under competition category for Best & Runners up..

Last date of receipt of the entries:
For entries in competition category: 14 August, 2015
For screening both documentary and feature films: 16 August, 2015.

Condition applicable to all categories of entries:-

i. Documentary and Feature film produced between the period January 2014 till January 2015 are entitled for entry.

ii. Films which were submitted during last film festivals will not qualify for AFF 2015.

iii. Only one film from each production banner will be allowed for entry in AFF 2015.

iv. Entrants are required to submit 2 DVDs (Tested / All Code) / region free only, Promos, Trailers and a separate DVD containing Directors Photograph, Bio-data, , Synopsis of the film, Stills of the Film, Posters, Pamphlets, etc. packed properly and freight pre-paid to the Directorate of IPR, located at Naharlagun.

v. Duration of Documentary film segment is up to 30 minutes and duration of feature film should be maximum of 2 hrs 30 mts can register for entry in the Arunachal Film festival 2015.

vi. Language: – English/Hindi/local language. Films in any Arunachal language must be dubbed in either English or Hindi Or carry English sub-titles.

vii. Film must be submitted in DVD in the MPEG2/MPEG4 FORMAT ONLY (Festival Management will not be responsible if film is not screened due to problem with the DVD).

viii. DVD should be labeled with the title, running-time and contact email and phone number.

ix. Fresh copy of DVD is required of selected film for final screening at the festival.

x. A separate copy of the film in DVD without any title (name of Production House, Name of Director & Producer, Actor, Actress etc) should invariably be submitted to the office in a sealed envelope

xi. All the entries must accompany filled and duly signed entry form.

xii. Competition is open to all excepting the employees of Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Naharlagun.

xiii. The festival authorities will have the right to retain DVD copies of each film as part of our festival library & which can be screened in different cities for media educational & non-commercial purpose. However prior permission will be sought from the producer of the film.

Copyright:

a) It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to secure clearance from the copyright holders of any copyrighted materials included within the submitted film. AFF committee will not be held responsible for the unauthorized inclusion of any copyrighted materials within or relating to the submitted film. AFF reserves the right to reject any entry of such films.
b) Censorship will not be applicable to any film entered in the festival.
c) Disclaimer: producer should insert disclaimer in is production at appropriate place.

Formats:-
Film must be submitted on DVD in the MPEG 2/MPEG4 format only to Festival Committee.

Check list:-
a. Entry Form duly Filled in with clear hand writing
b. 2 (Two) copies of film in DVD
c. A separate CD/DVD containing high resolution pictures fit for publication and advertisement containing Directors Photograph, Biodata, , Synopsis of the film, Stills of the Film, Posters, Pamphlets, etc
d. A separate DVD of the film without any title card for juries. (Only for competition category).
e. All above should be put in a sealed enveloped and to be deposited in the office of the undersigned.
