VTop20 Contest:

The following Principal and General rules are the rules and regulations which shall be binding on each and every participant  who voluntarily agree to participate in the “VTop20 contest”  which will be hosted by Star India Private Limited  on the Twitter profile of Channel V, i.e. @ChannelvIndia  on Twitter as a part of the promotion and viewer engagement for the program titled “V Top 20”, that is currently being aired on the Channel V.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Privacy Policy available at https://www.disneystar.com/ (“Website”) shall govern all usage of any Personal Information gathered under or pursuant to this Contest by STAR. Your act of participating in the Contest shall be deemed to be your absolute agreement to the Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and User Generated Content of STAR as prescribed from time to time (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Terms and Conditions”).

If you do not agree to be bound or cannot comply with any of the Rules and Regulations, please do not continue. Your failure to accept these General or Principal Rules or the Privacy Policy or Terms of Use or User Generated Content will disqualify your participation in the Contest. The Contest shall be governed by the Rules and Regulations and all the Participants in the Contest shall unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by the same.

By entering and participating in the Contest the entrant (“Participants”) unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by the Terms and Conditions herein. Participant(s)’ participation in the Contest will be deemed acceptance to these Terms and Conditions. The decisions of STAR for all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects.

(I) Entrants’ Eligibility:
(a) The Contest is open only to persons who are the citizens of India and shall be of 18 years of age and above.
(b) The Participant must have a valid and existing Twitter account during the Contest Period.
(c) Permanent and/or contract employees and directors of STAR, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively “STAR Entities”) and each of their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Contest.

(II) Contest Procedure:
(a) The Contest shall start on October 14, 2016 at 02.30 PM IST and end on October 14, 2016 at 05.30 PM IST (“Contest Period/Period”).

(b) To participate in the Contest, all persons interested in participating and /or Participants shall be mandatorily required to do the following during the Period:
** log in to the Platform using his/her Twitter account/credentials and click on the relevant page/tab of the Contest on the Platform or in any other manner or form as may be prescribed/requested on the Platform.
** For the purpose of participating in this Contest, it is mandatory that the interested Participant(s) mandatorily have a valid Twitter account and must be residing in Mumbai, India during the Period of the Contest.
** Follow the Channel V Twitter Handle on the Twitter Platform;
** Participant(s) shall thereafter be required to correctly answer the objective questions triggered during the Period on the Platform by tweeting the correct answers by using the pre created Hash Tag, “#VTop20” (“Hashtag”) (“Answer”).
** It is further clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification, it is mandatory to tweet the correct Answer for all the objective questions triggered on the Platform.
** For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that for the purpose of participating in the Contest and to be eligible for the Gratification, it is mandatory each and every Answer should mention the pre-decided Hashtag (as stated above) and Channel V Twitter Handle as mentioned on the Platform.
** For purposes of the Contest, “receipt” of Answer occurs only when the website server records the Answer information upon the entrant clicking “Submit/Post” button.
