Eligibility:
Current students pursuing courses (UG/PG) in any college across India are allowed to participate in the Contest.

Round 1: Idea Submission Round
Individuals must propose their project ideas and based on that they will be selected for the Final round.

Round 2: Preliminary Round (4 Zones)
** The team must develop the application based on the proposal submitted.
** Application should be compatible. Min Version : 3 and Max Version: 7 of Android or iOS.
** Proper Screen Size must be maintained.
** Application can be developed on any platform and finally the Apk File must be submitted.

Round 3 : Finals
Location: Chennai AU Campus & Daimler Plant

Note:
Travel & stay for the final round will be reimbursed and a tour to the Oragadam plant of Daimler buses & trucks, including meeting the senior management is included

Requirement for the application development:
** Screens – Screens (tabs) should be presented separately, with images available, presentations, and all other visual materials.
** Clarify if your mobile app should be integrated with social media (Facebook, Twitter….).
** Landscape or Portrait or Both mode- Clarify which mode to be implemented for the mobile app.
** Offline work – Mention whether your mobile app should be able to store any data on the device.
** Calendar based Scheduler – Mention is there need for the scheduler either in offline mode or online mode.
** Clarify whether your mobile app will have to send any data from/to an external server. Provide some general description of the server part.
** Point out if your mobile app should be able to print the information & what types of data will be made available.
** Mention if your mobile app users should be able to buy content inside the app & what type of content will be sold.
** Point out whether or not your mobile app will have geo-data functionality.
** Clarify if your app will have push notifications for enhanced user interaction & the types.

The Application:
** Team Size: 1-3
** Participant/s from different colleges can combine to form a team.
** Participant/s have to register online: www.au-daimlermobileappgarage.in. Upon registration a confirmation email to the registered email id of Participant 1 will be sent.
** Participant/s should obtain the bonafide certificate in the given format (with a recent passport photograph fixed in the space provided) attested by the respective institute & send the scanned copy after online registration by replying to the confirmation mail.
** Participant/s failing to send the scanned copy of the bonafide certificate by the Last Date will be disqualified. Hard copy of the same must be submitted at the venue.
** Participant/s cannot switch teams after registration, no addition or deletion of participants is allowed once the form is submitted.
** Each team registered must appear for the prelims at the venue. If any changes are there, teams must communicate this 10 days before the scheduled event.
