TEST DESCRIPTION:
“Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu – Season 3” (‘MEK – Season 3’) is a quiz based game show primarily in Telugu language which is being produced by BIG Synergy Media Limited (“Producer”) for initial exhibition on Maa TV Television channel (“Channel”) which channel is owned by Maa Television Network Limited and/or its affiliates.
DEFINITIONS:
1. “Auditions”: means the ground Auditions held at various cities on certain dates as informed to the selected Contestant(s).
2. “Auditionee(s)”: The Registrant(s) who is selected for participation in the Auditions.
3. “Back-up Participant(s)”: The Auditionee(s) selected to participate in the Fastest Finger First round of the Competition, only in case any selected Participant(s) does not appear for the shoot at the Studio, for any reason.
4. “Company/MTNL”: Maa Television Network Limited and/or its affiliates, the organizers of the Competition.
5. “Competition”: General knowledge quiz titled “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu – Season 3”.
6. “Contestant(s): The Registrant(s), Auditionee(s), Participant(s), Back–up Participant(s), Hot Seat Contestant(s) all collectively referred to as “Contestant(s)”.
7. “Celebrity special/s”: Any Episode/s of the Show specially recorded with Celebrity Hot Seat Contestant(s).
8. “Contributor”: Any person other than the Contestant(s), who participates, attends, and/or is present at any of the Auditions, Competition, the Studio, the Program, and/or the Show.
9. “Episode” An Episode of the Program.
10. “Fastest-Finger First/FFF” or such other name as it may be called means that part of the Program where questions are asked to the selected Participant(s) to be entitled to proceed to the Hot Seat.
11. “Hot Seat Contestant(s)” means the winning Contestant(s) of the Fastest Finger First round and who occupies the Hot Seat before the host of the Program to participate further in the Competition.
12. “Participant(s)” The Auditionee(s) who is selected to participate in the Fastest Finger First round of the Competition.
13. “Phone A Friend Candidate(s)”: A friend of the Participant who is selected by the Participant as phone a friend lifeline candidate. Phone A Friend Candidate(s) shall be above 18 years of age as on September 25, 2015 and an Indian national residing in India.
14. “Producer”: means the producer of the Program which is Big Synergy Media Ltd.
15. “Program”: The recordings of the Competition in the Studio (including any seasonal special/s /Celebrity Special recording).
16. “Registrant(s)”: Any person(s) who participates in the Competition and who (i) is above eighteen (18) years of age as on September 25, 2015; (ii) is a citizen of India residing in India (iii) is of sound mind and health (iv) has not participated in the Audition rounds in Season 1 and Season 2 of MEK and (v) enters the Competition in accordance with the Rules and Regulations stated below. Employees of MTNL, of the Producer, of the advertising agency which has been appointed from time to time, and also employees of the sponsors; and members of their immediate family; persons other than Indian nationals, or Indian nationals living out of India, or those who do not qualify under the definition of resident of India as per the Income Tax Act, 1961 or those not conversant in spoken Telugu, are ineligible to enter the Competition.
17. “Rules and Regulations”: These Rules and Regulations governing the Competition, stated herein in entirety, as maybe amended from time to time.
18. “Seasonal special/s”: Any Episode/s of the Show specially recorded to celebrate a specific time of year.
19. “Schedule”: An Episode or a set of Episodes to be recorded and/or recording dates as predetermined by the Company.
20. “Show”: Each Episode of the Program (including any Seasonal special/s or Celebrity special/s Episode/s/) that is telecast.
21. “Studio Part”: That part of the Competition, which takes place in the Studio whether or not part of the Show.
22. “Studio”: means the Studio at “Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad” or any other studio as decided by the Company/Producer where the shoot for the Competition / part of the Competition / promos of the Competition takes place.
23. “Winner”: The Hot Seat Contestant(s) who correctly answers all questions posed by the Host in the Show.
Procedure to Participate Competition :
Level 1 – Individual:
1. One Competition question having four multiple choice answer options will be aired each day during the promotions of the Show beginning from 26th September 2015 to 3rd October 2015 for all BSNL landline telephone and select mobile telephone subscribers (Airtel/ BSNL/ TATA/ Idea/Reliance/ Uninor/ Vodafone), excluding any calls made from a public call office (PCO) (“General Round Period”) i.e. a total of 7 (Seven) unique questions will be asked during the General round period .
The promotions will be aired inviting all viewers to register for the Competition. The telephone lines and the mobile phone lines and SMS acceptance, for each question of the General round period shall be open for twenty three and a half hours (23 hours and 30 minutes) i.e. beginning from 6:30:00 PM (IST) to next day 6:00:00 PM (IST) only. Detailed timelines are as below:

2. The calls and/ or SMS (together referred to as “Entry”) for participating should have been completed on or before closing of the defined timelines in order to be considered as a valid entry (“Valid Entry/ies”).
3. The cellular/landline number from which the registration is received will be used as unique identification number received to identify the Registrant. Each Registrant may submit multiple entries. Valid Entries sent each day shall only be considered for the random selection process for that day (a day is defined as a 23 hours and 30 minute period commencing from 6:30:00 PM to 6:00:00 PM the next day for General Round Period).
Please let me know if I am selected for hot seat. My date of audition was 6th November 2016 at Annapurna studio. I will be going out of Bangalore on some unavoidable situation. If I am selected I can at least manage my date of attending. Please inform.
I was selected in season 3 auditions in Visakhapatnam and again I was got call from season 4 SMS questions but they said I am not eligible for season 4 because I was selected in season 3 auditions. But your mentioned in terms and conditions that the persons who participated in only fastest finger round are not eligible for season 4. Whether I am eligible for season 4 or not?
I received a call from Mek on 16.10.2016. They asked my personal details&address. After that they transferred call to IVRS CENTER. THEY ASKED MY AGE. I type my age in my phone but at that time call gets disconnected. Please inform me as I am selected or not for audition round.

But I saw terms and conditions that the persons who come upto Fastest Finger Round in previous seasons are eligible for season 4.

I got a call from Mek on 14th October 2016.
And they asked me random questions. I answered all of them. So again today I got the call i.e 15th October 2016.
But the network was not clear and I couldn’t hear properly.
So if I send the answers again for the registration process of Mek 4 will I get the call again?

I have attended MEK audition on 17-1-2016. Till now I didn’t get any information. Please do tell that within how many days I get call or anybody who got call please reply?
Even I too attended the audition on 17th. Till now no call. I am waiting eagerly to meet Nagarjuna. If anybody get call please reply.
I have been selected for the auditions and even took part in it on 17-10-15 at Annapurna studios. They even took my personal interview and told that they will inform the results shortly but still they did not. We have received phone calls on 08-01-2016 at 11.57am & on 09-01-2016 at 5.23pm from MEK to attend auditions to be held on 17-01-2016 and asked certain particulars. After that they connected to IVRS, but IVRS automatically disconnected and the reasons are not known. Please look in to this matter & see that we participate in the auditions to be conducted on 17-01-2016 as intimated earlier.

MEK is a waste show and blaming us since they are not supporting to poor and ordinary people. They are supporting well settled people like Govt employees only. If you see last few episodes in Season 3.
Do not watch MEK show.
MEK is a Dhanvanthula simhasanam, since all contestants are government teachers and government employees, not private employees and poor people. They are not supporting such people, since they require popularity. They are saying MEK is a Samanyula simahasanam still. In show, questions are also dead easy for government employees. This is a waste show ever and do not watch further episodes.
I have got a call on 9-1-2016. I have given all the details of myself and they told that auditions will be on 17th January and connected to IVRS and I have answered all those questions correctly. Hi i got a call from MEK yesterday and I have confirmed my details and my brother’s details to attend the audition on 17th january-16. Later, on the same call they connected to IVR to verify my DOB and asked 3 questions. I have replied those questions. Till now I have not received any confirmation call from MEK. Can you please let me know weather I am selected for next process or not, because we have to come from Bhadrachalam for this. Please help on this.

I got a call from mek today and I gave the information to them. They connected to IVRS and they asked my age. I gave correct answer but the call was disconnected. I think it is due to the IVRS problem. They told that the audition is on 17th Jan but they did not inform the place.

I got a call yesterday that I am selected for mek and should come to Hyderabad On 17&18&19 for shooting from no 9515117038 and he paid today and said as I Will get another detailed call. Is it true? Please answer my question. I have already booked tickets.
Yes , this is very sad and discouraging one. Atleast they should allow a person for 2 times. Then the people will get happy. Otherwise people will scold maa tv and also this show because it is not in humanitarian grounds. At one side they are saying that it is knowledge based game show , but they are not giving sufficient chance. I think they afraid for peoples knowledge {if they get another chance}
They have to change their opinion again and change the rules as per the audience request
I have participated in mek but i couldn’t get any call from mek. I have answered all questions. I don’t never feel. I request for mek selection committee members if you call for selected candidates for knowing details who is selected as a mek participated member. When you call them that call is ended then they loss their chance to play in mek. This is due to technical error. It shouldn’t be repeated next session. Please announce their names in mek website to come to your office and verify their certificate. Please take some determination about this issue.
Mek team called me on 27th Nov and told me to attend 12th Dec audition. They questioned me with 3 questions. I answered but call was disconnected. I have attended the audition.

While thanking MEK for contacting me on 24th November 2015 informing me that I have been selected at Random for MEK AUDITION TEST on 13th December 2015. The Person from MEK collected my Address Details and connected the call to IVRS system where they asked my Age and I was answered my age as 61 & then the Call was disconnected. After that I tried several times by making SMS regarding this information to the called MEK number, but it was not responding and my efforts failed.
Please let me know the fate of my participation in MEK AUDITION TEST on 13th December 2015. These type of Technical Errors by your IVRS System is distressing your valued FUTURE PARTICIPANTS, VIEWERS,& INTERESTED CONSUMERS who spend lot of their Valuable Time and Money.

I have received phone call from mek and taken my details. Then connected to IVRS and it asked my age. I have entered my age as 53 which is actual of me. But the IVRS says that it is wrong and the phone was cut. Why did it happen? What is the cause of this, even though we gave the correct age? Kindly tell what is the reason.

Earlier participants in Season 1 and Season 2 auditions are not eligible for MEK 3. But it is highly injustice because the rules suddenly changed. In Season 2 the participants who selected for FFF are not eligible for Season 2. Hence, Kindly review the situation and take a favorable decision.

The shooting schedules age likely to go beyond April 2nd week. Keep itself out of tension . If you are selected in your age group, your Val still be called upon at any time. Groups of ten contestants would be informed about the shooting dates and also about the protocol.

I have got call from Maa TV on 5-10-2015 but they did not call back for audition. I want know whether I can expect call from you or not?
I received a call from mek on 4th October after hearing from me that I have attended for 1st and 2nd season auditions they expressed Sorry rules doesn’t permit from further participation which is not at all fair on the part of Tv and bigsenergy. Since the competition is open to all one should not be deprived off. By this the show may become unpopular and Nagarjuna will be blamed on account of such decision. Hence it is requested to amend the clause for better results of the show.
To -whom-so-ever it may concern, I am almost taken a back after knowing that people who appeared for AUDION during 1st and 2nd Seasons of MEK are barred from contesting this time. This is most unfair on your part. Please review your decision and allow us to appear for mek-3. I am 75 plus and appeared for 1st audition and later not called. I am very eager to contest again.
I received a call from MEK on 2.10.15 at 10.55 AM and asked age address details and he said you will come 9 to 15 auditions after asked 3 questions through IVRS and i gave 3 right answers. after than there is no information, i am waiting for their call.
Just I have received call from MAA TV Call Center Executive on 5th October 2015. They asked my name,surname & address then they said they connected I V R phone,the computer asked one question i.e on 25th September 2015 25 years completed or not. I am 46 to answer and also asked gender-Male, then the computer asked 3 questions and answered all three questions, then I V R phone was disconnected. When can I expect call again from MAA TV for attending auditions?
How to get information for Date of auditions & Place of auditions. We come to know that the auditions are going to conduct on 09-10-2015 to 18-10-2015. But still I didn’t receive any call from MAA TV people. Please give your reply immediately. I am eagerly awaiting with thousands of eyes for your phone call or S M S or email regarding auditions as early as possible.
As per latest circular people who appeared for 1st or 2nd MEK audition are barred from contesting this season. This is not fair. Please review your decision and allow us to contest from the next round atleast. I appeared audition during 1st season. Later I was not selected for FFF. I am 75 plus,eager to contest this season.

I got a call from mek. It means my answer is correct and I cleared the general round. But they said I am not eligible as I have been to studio round last 2 times. Is it not a straight mischief from your end to decide on someone’s prospects? Secondly, you say it is a knowledge based game show. Then how you deny someone’s entry saying your doors are closed for lifetime? Is it not cheating? Is it that your promos are a farce, that you are here to help the needy and capable to realize their dreams and you are instrumental in the process. All trash!!! Am I right? I strongly feel this not a luck show, this is a strategic game right from first level. Even international games do not say one can’t attempt for another time if he/she failed to be successful in earlier attempts. Hat’s off to your policy makers, for having no thought while framing the rules. Your intention of giving chance to more and more people is good, but you can’t seal someone’s destiny. What will I be required to do at the auditions?
A. Each Auditionee will be made to go through two pre- defined audition rounds. The first round will involve answering skill-based questions, the second round will be a video round where the Auditionee will have to give a personal interview.

I have an doubt about regarding the age what i have answered in the first general round question .my age is 18 years 11months old until the registration date as on 25 th sep but I have send my age of 19 then it may lead to any disqualification in further processing.
