State Level Painting Competition 2015:

Instructions for the State Level Painting/ Poster Competition on 06th November 2015 at Inderdhanush Auditorium, Sector-5, Panchkula for 50 selected students in each category

Painting should be made with crayons, colored pencils, water colors.

A. Topic /themes of Painting Competition:
State Level Category ‘A’:
It’s in your favour to be energy saver
Let us save energy together
Turn off the lights, wasting electricity bites

State Level Category ‘B’:
Be a bright spark, lights off till its dark
SOS – Switch Off something
Consume less Electricity, Save Money in Electricity Bill

The children may consider the following points while painting:-
** Relevance of the theme depicting the selected topics. Execution of concept/theme.
** Overall visual appeal, handling of given space and use of appropriate colour combination.
** Use of Collage/ Patchwork is not permitted

B. Salient features of the State level Painting Competition Scheme:
1. The list of 50 selected students eligible for participation at state level painting competition have been uploaded at www.bbmb.gov.in. The decision of the committee shall be final and irrevocable.
2. All the 50 students selected for the state level painting competition would be paid Rs.1000/- as incentive in cash through his/her guardian/parents accompanying the student.

3. The Committee of Experts/Jury of that particular State/UT will select 13 best paintings and the following prizes shall be given:-
i) First Prize Rs.20,000/-
ii) Second Prize Rs.15,000/-
iii) Third Prize Rs.10,000/-
iv) Consolation Prize (10 Nos) Rs.2,500/-each.

The decision of the committee shall be final and irrevocable.

4. The Chief Guest of the function would give away the prizes to winning students.
5. A Group photograph of participating students along with Chief Guest and respective Nodal Officer has also been arranged.
6. Receipt of the payments are required to be signed by the accompanying guardian/parent/school authorities.

7. Travel Cost:
7A. Travel Cost for Category ‘A’(Class 4th, 5th, and 6th Standard) – The selected students will be reimbursed Sleeper Class/ AC Chair Car/ 3rd AC rail fare / State Roadways bus fare for the shortest route for self and two guardians.
7B. Travel Cost for Category ‘B’ (Class 7th, 8th, and 9th Standard)- The selected students will be reimbursed Sleeper Class/ AC Chair Car/ 3rd AC rail fare / State Roadways bus fare for the shortest route for self and one guardian.

C. Important Instructions for Schools, Students and their Parents/ Guardians:
1. The selected students are requested to carry the following material:-
** A letter from respective school principal certifying the student’s particulars or Identity Card.
** Latest passport size coloured photographs (2 Nos.)
** Painting material crayons, colored pencils, water colors.
** Drawing Board of size min. 15’x20’.
** The drawing sheet will be provided by BBMB.
** Painting competition of 2 hours duration shall be conducted from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM sharp

2. It will be the responsibility of the school /Principals/Guardians /Parents to bring the children at the venue of painting competition and take them back after prize distribution function.
3. Students participating at State /UT level painting competition will also be given some mementoes by the Nodal Officer and Certificate of participation.
4. The selected student is required to report at the painting competition venue latest by 08:00 AM Sharp for registration and the painting competition will be of two hours duration from 09.00 to 11.00 AM
5. The jury constituted for the selection of the winners of the painting competition will decide & give result in the next 3 hours duration time (children and their guardians will be provided with refreshments by the organizers).
6. The award distribution function to felicitate the students of the selected painting will be held on the same day ie 06/11/2015 itself and is expected to be over by 02.30 PM.

Important:
D. Check list for the students:-
1. To bring Identity Card/letter of School providing particulars as per C-1 above.
2. To bring Two recent passport size photographs with name & State/UT name on back of photograph with ‘Black Pencil’.
3. To bring Painting material crayons, colored pencils, water colors, Drawing Board of size min. 15’x20’.
4. Reporting time 8:00 AM on 6.11.2015 Sharp at the Inderdhanush Auditorium, Sector-5, Panchkula (Haryana)
