Each author will roll out the prompt on 7th and the contest will close on the 30th of that month. Upload your entries and wait for the results, which will be announced 45 days after the contest closes.

Eligibility

This Campaign is valid for users who are Indian citizens and are competent to to enter into a valid and binding contract under law, and are aged 18 years and above.

Participation Fee

There is no entry fee for participation in the Campaign

Campaign Duration

Campaign shall start from 7th August 2019 and will conclude on 30th May 2020.

Campaign Details

a. This is the Season 3 of Write India, which is in the nature of a short story competition.

b. Each month TIL will share/ upload a passage prepared by their designated ‘Author of The Month’. Participants must develop that passage into a story. Entries will be judged based on creativity, engagement, storytelling skills, use of language and structure, etc.

c. Submission of stories starts on 7th of each month and ends on 30th of each month.

d. TIL reserves the right to change the time duration of the Campaign, number of passages shared, dates of submissions, and the date of announcement of the prizes and winners.

Prizes

For 10 months, every month a ‘Winner of the Month’ will be awarded a certificate by TIL. The top three winning entries, as determined by TIL, may also be awarded a Prize that TIL decides at its sole discretion.

All the winning entries may also get published in the form of a book by Times Group Books, at TIL’s sole discretion, along with winner’s details.

Contacting Winners

The winner shall be informed about his/her selection through email / leader board section on the Campaign page at TIL’s sole discretion. TIL reserves the right of changing the notification mechanisms to the user.
