“Kanna Paatu Paada Aasaya” (hereinafter referred as ‘Program’) which will be hosted by Asianet Star Communications Pvt Limited on its television channel “Vijay Music”.

The Program provides an opportunity to the shortlisted Participant/s to get his/her singing video telecast on the Channel along with the original song (video) partly, i.e. while the original song will be telecast, in-between for one section alone the original audio will be muted and the singing video of the shortlisted Participant will be played over the original song (video).

Program Timings

The videos of the shortlisted Entry(s) will be played on the Channel everyday minimum one time of each hour between 6 AM and 11 :59 PM.

Eligibility

(a) The Program is open only to persons who are the citizens of India and shall be of 18 years of age and above.

(b) Permanent and/or contract employees and directors of ASCPL, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively “ASCPL Entities”) and each of their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Program.

Program Period

The Program will start from 9th October and end 31st December 2020. The Term may be extended or reduced at the discretion of ASCPL

Compilation Period

All the valid Entry(ies) received during the term of the Program will be shortlisted and the videos of the shortlisted Entries will be telecast on the Channel at the discretion of the ASCPL

How To Participate?

1. For participating in the Program the Participant/s have to submit their Entry (defined below) in the following manner.

** ASPL will release promos on the Channel inviting the interested people /Participants to visit the website vijay.starttv.com (“ Platform”) to send their Entry(ies)
** Once the Participant/s log on to the Platform there will be an icon leading them to Vijay Music sub-page
** Under Vijay Music sub-page there will be 3 sections one of which will be Kanna Paatu Paada Aasaya
** Participant is required to choose the Kanna Paatu Paada Aasaya tab
** Terms and Conditions will first appear in Kanna Paatu Paada Aasaya tab and the Participant will have to accept to these Terms and Conditions to proceed with the Entry.

2. After accepting the Terms and Conditions, a form will be opened which contains the following details :
a. List of songs (drop down) will be provided and the Participant(s) needs to choose the song they are planning to share their entry for
b. Name of the Participant
c. Mobile number of the Participant
d. City name / location
e. Pre recorded Video of the participant is to be uploaded

** The Participant(s) have to upload a pre-recorded video of his/her own singing
** The duration of the video should be minimum 1 (one) minute and maximum 5 minutes. – The video should be on .mp4 format
** The Participant(s) can use any app / software for recording the video, however, there can be no branding / water mark / template that can be present on the video when they are submitting

2. After filling up the form and uploading the video, the Participant/s have to confirm by giving a tick mark to the self declaration and Personal Information boxes that the Participant needs to check / accept before submitting the Entry

3. Once the Participant/s submit the Entry, he/she will see a message which would thank him/her for sharing the details and continue to watch the Program on the Channel to see if his/her Entry is shortlisted.

Shortlisting Process

a. The valid Entries will be shortlisted based on the following criteria (“Criteria’)
** Quality of singing
** Video resolution
** Screen presence
** Personality
** Grace and confidence of the singer

b. There is no upper limit on the number of Entries that will be shortlisted and the number of Entries to be shortlisted will be at the discretion of ASCPL

c. For avoidance of doubt it is clarified that ASCPL’s decision in regard to the shortlisting of the Entries shall be final and binding. For the sake of clarity, mere participation in the Program does not entitle the Participant(s) to be shortlisted for telecast. Only the Participant(s) having made a valid Entry and whose video has met the Criteria stated above shall be entitled to be shortlisted. By way of reiteration,

d. The videos of the shortlisted Entry (ies) will be telecast on the Channel along with the original song (video) partly. i.e. the original song will be telecast and in-between for one section alone the original audio will be muted and the singing video of the shortlisted Participant will be played over the original song (video).
