“Navarathri Saree Contest” which will be part of promotional activity conducted by “Colors Tamil” in India hosted by Viacom18 Media Private Limited.

Contest Period

The Contest shall be held on days from Monday to Saturday fora period commencing from19th October 2020 to 7th November,2020

Eligibility

a) Participant(s) must be citizens of India and of eighteen (18) years of age or above.

b) Employees of and/or consultants of and/or persons hired on contract by Viacom18 and the members of their immediate family are ineligible from participating in the Contest.

How to Participate?

** During the Contest Period, one question relating to the one of the programs telecast during the Contest Window shall be displayed on the Channel at 21.30hours (IST).

The question shall have 4(four) options out of which one of the options would be the right answer to that question.

** To participate in the Contest, the Participants must watch the programs telecast on the Channel during the Contest Window. The question displayed shall have 4 options out of which one of the options would be the right answer to that question.

The Participant must select one option from amongst the 4options given and submit the answer as per the Answering Mechanism mentioned herein below.

** A Participant can send their answers the questions asked through the Answering Mechanism till 23:59hours IST on the day when the questions have been aired

Answering Mechanism

Viewers interested in participating in the Contest may do so by sending their answers within the Answering Window through WhatsApp application on their mobile phones

a) Participants can send in the answer to question by selecting an option associated with a question and by sending message through WhatsApp to the number ‘6380661339’ in the format prescribed below

Question No (1 or 2 or 3 or 4)>SPACE <Option (A, B, C or D)<SPACE> NAME<Space>AGE<SPACE>TOWN

Note :
Each Participant needs to use a valid phone number, registered either with the network operators viz. Aircel, Airtel, Idea, Reliance Jio, Tata, Vodafone;

Selection of Winner(s)

** Out of all the eligible Entries received within the Answering Window for a particular day the Channel shall select the a maximum of 3 Participants everyday during the first 2 weeks of the Contest Period (i.e from 19thOctober, 2020 to 31st October, 2020) and a maximum of 4 Participants in the last week of the Contest Period (i.e from 2nd November, 2020 to 7th November, 2020) who gives correct answer to the question as “Shortlisted Participant” through random selection method during the Contest Period.

** The Shortlisted Participant(s) will be contacted via call to provide their name, age, email id and phone number to within a reasonable time after being declared as the Shortlisted Participant.

Upon receiving the call, such Shortlisted Participant(s) would then be asked to send their Contact Details via email or any other medium as agreed by Viacom18 within 72hours of such message without which they will not be entitled to the Prize.

** Announcement of Winners shall be within a reasonable time after the end of the Contest Period.

Gratification Details

Winner(s)as may be declared by the Channel shall stand a chance to win a saree. The Winner shall receive the prize by means of courier to the address as provided by the Winners

General Rules

** Entries sent after the Period will not be considered for the Contest and shall be deemed null and void.

** The Winner(s) agrees and confirms that the Prize so awarded by Viacom18 shall be the sole gratification/ prize pursuant to the Winner(s) participating and winning the Contest, and that the Winner(s) shall not be entitled to any further gratification at any time.

** The Prize is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. For the purpose of clarity, no cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given to the Winners (s) and the Winners cannot exchange the Prize for a gift of similar value.

** The Winner(s) agrees that he/she shall not hold Viacom18and/or its employees, responsible for delays or any problem in connection to the Prize.
