Orange Education OGO

OGO (Orange Global Olympiad) is a scientifically designed diagnostic exam to identify the academic strengths and weaknesses of students. It is a comprehensively designed, skill-based competitive exam to develop competitive spirit and encourage students to achieve higher learning goals

Who are Eligible?

** OGO is conducted for Classes 1 to 10 in the following subjects – Astronomy, Cyber, English, Finance, Mathematics and Science.
** OGO is conducted in Hindi for Classes 3 to 10.

** OGO is a two level examination, i.e. School Level Examination (SLE) at school level and National Level Examination (NLE) at national level.
** Students scoring 60% and above in the SLE will qualify for the NLE.

How To Apply?

Registration of Students :
** Register for Orange Global Olympiad 2021-22 at http://www.ogoolympiad.com

** Orange Global Olympiad (OGO) is open to the students of classes 1 to 10. The Parent Circulars are sent to all the registered schools. The schools which are not registered may request for Parent Circulars by sending an e-mail at info [AT] orangeeducation.in . Schools must return the duly filled circulars by the due date.

** Orange Education Private Limited (OEPL) will register the applicant school and students and dispatch question papers and guidelines for conducting the examination.

** Principals/teachers may please note that any school can be registered as a centre for Orange Global Olympiad (OGO). No fee is required from the school/institution to become a registered examination centre.

OGO Construct

** Orange Global Olympiad (OGO) is a 2 level examination
i. School Level Examination (SLE)
ii. National Level Examination (NLE).

** SLE is a paper-based exam conducted at schools under proctored environment by school authorities.

** National Level Examination (NLE) is an online exam, conducted at schools under proctored environment by school authorities. National Level Examination (NLE) will be conducted only for Mathematics, Science, English and Astronomy.

** Orange Global Olympiad (OGO) 2021-22 Will conducted on 2 dates for School Level Examination (SLE). The school may choose any one set of date from the options provided below to conduct the Olympiads.

Each set of date has a separate question paper. Change of date for conducting Orange Global Olympiad (OGO) is not permitted.

** Students should register through their respective schools only and via online registration portal.

Registration Fee

** The participation fees is Rs. 160 per Student per Subject for Olympiad and Rs. 100 per Student per Subject for Workbook. The workbooks comprise of practice material to enhance the conceptual knowledge of students and prepare them for Olympiad.

Examination Dates

FAQs

1. Are there any special books which the participants should refer to for the preparation?
In general, NCERT books/course books prescribed by the CBSE/ICSE/STATE BOARDS may be referred to for preparation. We also have following books/materials for OGO preparation

** OGO Workbooks–English, Mathematics, Science, Cyber, Jr. Finance and Astronomy (For Classes 1 to 10); Hindi (for Classes 3 to 10)
** OGO NLE Books–Astronomy, English, Mathematics and Science (For Classes 1 to 10)

2. I have already appeared for OGO while I was in a lower class? Can I appear again?
Yes, you can participate for the class which you are currently studying and you are eligible for the certificate/s in case you perform well and could also win scholarships.

3. My school has already dispatched the registration form. I am left out and I want to register myself for OGO. What should I do?
Please contact your school coordinator immediately and request to send your details along with fee to us. We will accept it if it reaches us 30 days prior to the Olympiad date.

4. When are the results of OGO declared?
Results of OGO will be declared within 40 days of the exam. The hard copy of the results will be sent to the schools for onward distribution to the students. The results can also be viewed on our website.

5. Can I take part in more than one OGO exam?
Yes, the dates and timings of exams are different for each subject so you can participate in all the seven subjects i.e. Astronomy, Cyber, English, Jr. Finance, Hindi, Mathematics and Science.

6. Do I have to regularly visit your website for the latest updates about OGO activities?
We recommend you to visit our website (www.orangeeducation.in) regularly to get the updated information regarding events, practice tests, updated questions, etc.

The last date of Registration is 30th September, 2021.
