How to Participate in the Gold Quiz Contest?

** The ‘Festival of Gold’ contest will run for a period of 30 days, from 12 Oct 2023 till 10 Nov 2023The ‘Festival of Gold’ contest will run for a period of 30 days, from 12 Oct 2023 till 10 Nov 2023
** This is a free to play Contest and will be open for readers on our 2 websites www.hindustantimes.com (HT) and www.livehindustan.com (LH)
** By participating in this contest, readers on our HT & LH websites can get a chance to win a Gold coin everyday during the contest period
** To participate, reader will need to answer all questions for the day. Incomplete/Partial entries will not be considered for participation
** A reader can participate in this contest everyday. However, the number of entries per day will be limited to only one per reader
** A reader can win maximum of 1 gold coin everyday
** The Contest will have 2 winners every day

Prizes of Gold Quiz Contest Win Gold Coin

** Contest Winners will get physical Gold coins of 1 gram each
** Winners will be selected through a lucky draw taken out at HT Media Ltd offices in Delhi & Mumbai : 1 winner to be taken out in Delhi & 1 in Mumbai

** Winners will be notified on the mobile number and/or email id details filled in by the participant while entering the contest. If contacted via Email, the winner will be required to acknowledge the receipt of such email on that day itself. Further, only one attempt shall be made to contact the winner on his/her mobile number as provided.

In the event of non-availability of the concerned winner over the phone call or in the event of failure of the winner to acknowledge the Email, the prize shall lapse. HTDS shall reserve the right to select any alternate winner in the event the prize cannot be given to the original winner.

** For collection of Gold Coin, the reader will need to travel to either the Delhi or Mumbai office and collect the gold coin post submitting self attested copy of KYC documents such as Aadhaar & PAN card. The reader will have to collect the gold coin on or before 30 November 2023. Post which the opportunity shall be forfeited

** Cash will not be given in lieu of gifts. Gifts are non-transferable, and winners must collect their gifts in person from the Hindustan Times office; prizes will not be couriered to any location
** The address for HT offices will be communicated to the winners to collect the prize
** The winners are responsible for bearing the TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) on gifts, if applicable

Terms & Conditions of Gold Quiz Contest

** HT Media Ltd. will not be responsible for guaranteeing the product; only the warranty terms and conditions stated by the supplier will apply
** Families of HT Media Ltd. staff and agents cannot participate in this scheme.

** HT Media Ltd. reserves the right to cancel or modify this scheme, or accept/reject any entry without providing a reason or prior notice. The rules of the competition may also be changed if deemed necessary. The decision of HT Media Ltd. management for anything related to the contest and winners will be final and binding. Any disputes will be settled within the jurisdiction of the Delhi Court only.

** HT Media Limited in its absolute discretion may publicize, broadcast or otherwise disclose a participant’s/winner’s name, character, likeness, statements, or any recording of their voice in advertising or promotional activities concerning this competition, or generally. HT Media Limited may promote or advertise that a winner has won the competition.

** HT Media Limited, its vendor and/or its subsidiaries shall not be liable to any person or entity for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of profits, incurred by the winner or any third party, whether in connection with this competition, or for breach of any warranty or in tort.

** Each entrant shall indemnify HT Media Limited, its agents, employees, representatives, associates, affiliates, parent and subsidiary companies against any and all claim, losses, costs, damages, liability and expenses arising out of the entrant’s breach of any of the T&C or arising out of or in connection with their entries to the competition.

** Each entrant, by entering the competition, expressly releases HT Media Limited from any claim, action or demand arising out of or in connection with the competition or their prize, if any.

** If, for any reason, the competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to the reasons of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of HT Media Limited which corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, HT Media Limited reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

** Any provision of the T&C that is prohibited or unenforceable in any jurisdiction shall ineffective as to that jurisdiction to the extent of that prohibition or unenforceability. That does not affect the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction nor invalidate the remaining provisions of the T&C.

** This Contest is being created as a promotional activity for HT Media Limited and all goodwill, copyright, moral rights or other intellectual rights associated there from shall vest exclusively with HT Media Limited.
