What is Tata Steel Kolkata 25K?

Tata Steel Kolkata 25K has been a beacon for running in eastern India that has sparked a running revolution. It is the city’s greatest participative sporting festival that celebrates the People of Kolkata – Aamar Kolkata, Aamar Run. Flagged off from the iconic Red Road on Sunday, 17th December 2023, the race route is carefully crafted to take in some of the city’s majestic sights, as the runners go past the Raj Bhavan, the Eden Gardens, under the Howrah Railway Bridge over the Hooghly River, Fort William Golf Course and the Victoria Memorial before returning to the Red Road finish line.

Applications will be accepted up to 1900 hours, Friday, 24th November 2023 or until running places are filled, whichever is earlier.

Entry Rules & Regulations of Tata Steel Kolkata 25K

Applicants must thoroughly read the mandated.
1. Application Guidelines
a. Please thoroughly go through all information mentioned below prior to submitting your application. Registration confirmation received will be subject to applicable confirmation criteria and the entry rules given herein.
b. An applicant can apply for only one of the five on-ground, non-elite race categories – 25K, Open 10K, Ananda Run, Silvers’ Run and Champions with Disability; multiple applications will entail all entries not being confirmed. Further, an applicant must apply for the event using a single email address.
c. An applicant will be confirmed, subject to fulfilling conditions mentioned herein and confirmation qualification criteria (where applicable), only for the race category he/she has applied for.
d. Applicants can register only via online using this registration link and paying applicable entry fees based on race category opted for. No individual/group has been authorized to collect entries on behalf of the event promoter, Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL).

Prizes of Tata Steel Kolkata 25K

Finisher Medal :
All Open 25K finishers will receive a Finisher Medal post their run.
Medals will not be posted to individual finishers.

Timing Certificate :
Timing Certificates of Open 25K finishers will be available for download from the event website within 21working days after race day.

Prize Money Structure :
Prize money eligibility is subject to prize money rules and race regulations.

The top 3 Open 25K finishers, men and women, falling within the age groups given below, shall be eligible to following prize money:
** 1st position: ₹ 20,000
** 2nd position: ₹ 15,000
** 3rd position: ₹ 7,500

Winner Medals :
Winner medals will be presented to top 3 Open 25K finishers, men and women, in each age group as mentioned in the prize money structure above.

Merit Certificate :
All finishers falling within the prize money structure will receive merit certificates certifying their prize money winning positions.
