What is Sur Sangam Singing Competition?

The 34th Sur Sangam Sansthan Singing Competition is organized in Collaboration Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur Rajasthan. It is a national level competition in which talented singers from across the country participate. The competition has categories for singing in various forms of Hindustani classical music, bhajans, ghazals and folk music. Contestants between 16 to 25 age group can only participate in the competition. Last date for submitting audio files will be 10th January 2024. To participate in the competition, participants must apply online. Registration Fees for the competition are Rs. 500 which is non-refundable.

Eligibility of Sur Sangam Singing Competition

** Audio file format can be.mp3, .wav, .aac, .m4a, .flac
** Constestants between 16 to 25 age group can only participate in the competition.
** Please make sure that your birthday lies between 1st January 1998 to 1 January 2009
** You can apply for only one category from one registration. If you want to apply for another category you have to register again with different category. you have to play again for another registration.
** Outside Rajasthan state participants selected for FINALE will be reimbursed with Rs. 1500 for transport and Rs. 500 for Rajasthan candidates. Lodging and Food will be provided by the organizers)

Competition Format of Sur Sangam Sansthan

The Competition is divided into 3 Rounds.
** Registration Fees for the competition are Rs. 500 which is non-refundable.

PRELIMINARY ROUND :
** Fill the application form.
** Select the category for the competition.
** Make Payment for your registration.
** Upload your audio file on the link which will come after successful completion of payment.
** If you miss the link after successful payment, you can find uploading link in your email id provided by you in the registration.
** While uploading the file make sure that it is your final file, after file submission you cannot alter your file.
** Last date for submitting audio files will be 10th January 2024
** Studio Recordings and Karoake are not eligible for contest.
** Results of Preliminary rounds will be announced on 20th January 2024
** Winner’s recording will be shared with eminent judges for Selection Round.

SELECTION ROUND :
** Selected audio from premilinary round will be examined by eminent judges
** Result of selection round will be announced on 27th January 2024
** There is no need to submit another audio for selection round
** The audio submitted during registration will be considered for the selection round.

FINALES :
** Winners from SELECTION ROUND will be invited to Jaipur, Rajasthan
** FINALE will hold on to 20th to 22nd February 2024

Prizes of Sur Sangam Singing Competition

** There are 2 kinds of winners in the competition.
1 Rs. 1,00,000
4 Runner Up – Rs. 25,000 each
** Transport reimbursement will be provided to the contestants who are attending FINALE.
** Lodging arrangements are done by organizers for contestants from states other than Rajasthan.
** Maximum transport reimbursement will be Rs. 1500 for contestants from states other than Rajasthan, and Rs. 500 for Rajasthan contestants.
** Parents will not be allowed to stay with contestants, However it can be managed on prior request and advance of Rs. 5000 (including food)
