Department of Applied Physics, University of Calcutta organises Innovision 2024 to showcase the young innovative minds in West Bengal. Any undergraduate (pursuing) engineering/ science students may participate in this competition. The biggest contribution of science and technological innovations should be directed toward solving problems in society and the nation. Last Date for Submission of Innovision 2024 Students Poster Presentation Contest is 5th January 2024.

Eligibility of Innovision Students Poster Presentation Contest

Any undergraduate (pursuing) Engineering / Science students from AICTE/UGC recognized institution in West Bengal. Passouts are not eligible.

How to Participate in the Innovision Students Poster Presentation Contest?

Participants can download the template from this website and prepare their write-up under the headings as prescribed. Use the Google Form to fill in the details of the participants and upload the write-up in PDF format.

Submission deadline: January 05, 2024
Notification of acceptance: January 12, 2024
Registration deadline: January 17, 2024
Date of competition: January 27, 2024

Registration Fees:
INR500 per participant/individual.

Important Instructions of Innovision Contest

** Maximum two students can participate in a group with a single write-up.
** One student can submit one write-up only.
** The coverage of the competition should be strictly limited to the topics enlisted above. Writeups submitted beyond these topics will be summarily rejected.
** Hardware implementation of the idea is not mandatory but will be an added advantage
** The idea should be implementable in Indian context.
** The submissions should be strictly in the prescribed format.
** All the participating groups will be awarded with participation certificate.
** The winner and first runner-up group will be provided with special certificates.

Review Process of Innovision Poster Presentation Contest

** All the submissions will be evaluated by expert panels from Industry and Academia.
** Selected write-ups will be called for oral/ poster presentation at the competition venue.
** Candidates of selected write-ups will be required to register by paying the registration fees.
** A list will be put up on this website with names of registered candidates and write-ups.
** The size of the poster and other details of the presentation at the venue will be uploaded in this website in due time.
