What is VIL Subscribe Recharge And Win Challenge?

Subscribe Recharge And Win Challenge Season-9 is a promotional activity organized by One97 Communication Limited in association with Vodafone Idea Limted. “Active Subscriber” shall mean a Subscriber who uses the Subscriber Identity Module (“SIM”) of VIL on a regular basis for purposes other than to participate in any offer or Challenge offered by VIL. Last Date of Contest is 29th February 2024.

Eligibility of Subscribe Recharge And Win Challenge

“Eligible Subscriber” shall mean an Active Subscriber of VIL satisfying the following criteria at the time of participation and during continuation of Challenge:
** He/she must be of at least 18 years of age;
** He/she must be a citizen of India;
** He/she must be an Active Subscriber of VIL;
** He/she must be responsible to activate and subscribe to the Challenge Pack and thereby become a Challenge Pack Member. He/she must belong to any of the telecom service areas mentioned below;

** Challenge is not accessible to 4G users through following modes IVR, SMS, USSD & OBD and such users can access the Challenge only through WAP mode, however, users who have played the Challenge during the Challenge Period and migrated to 4G from 2G or 3G networks can access of the service on all mentioned available modes.

** For Prepaid Subscribers – Subscribers must have the minimum requisite balance of Rs. 11 per day for subscription pack and Rs.44 for recharge pack, to be eligible to participate in this Challenge;
** He/she neither be under any legal disability nor prohibited from entering in any contractual relationship.
** Subscribers who are roaming outside their home Circle will be barred from playing the Challenge.

Challenge Period of Subscribe Recharge And Win

** This is a limited period monthly challenge for Eligible Subscribers of VIL, available from 1st February 2024, 00:00:01 hours to 29th February 2024, 23:59:59 hours, both days inclusive (“Challenge Period”).
** Organizer and VIL reserves the right to extend or shorten the Challenge Period, as it deems fit to Organizer and/or VIL.

How to Participate in the Subscribe Recharge And Win Challenge?

The charges paid by the subscribers are towards the service and no additional charge is collected from the subscriber for participating in the Challenge.

Charging Details

Vodafone Idea subscriber recharging with INR-43 and subscribing to subscription pack at INR-49 with fallback price point will be eligible to participate in the Challenge period.

Participation in the Challenge :
** Each Challenge Pack Member can subscribe to the challenge only through WAP by landing on the following Wap page https://viservices.in/vilcontest_subs/. Where users can subscribe to the service at the charge of Rs.49 for 7 days and get 20 questions per day for 7 days validity period, and recharge with Rs.43 for 7 days and get 20 questions per day for 7 days validity.

*** They shall be charged on fall-back charging as per the mobile account he/she is on based on the Table B mentioned below during the Challenge Period, unless otherwise specified herein.
** Challenge would be available on following modes like WAP, IVR, SMS & USSD.

Challenge Rules

** Vodafone Idea Subscribers Recharge with INR-43 and Subscription Pack of INR-49 can be able to participate in the Subscriber Recharge and Win Challenge.
** Fallback charging is only for Subscription Pack of INR-49.
** There would be a daily quota of 20 questions a day, which can be added every next day till end of the challenge season period.
** Recharge pack will expire once the pack validity is completed or competition season is over, and similar for Subscription pack validity or competition season is over.

** If user subscribed to service at Rs.49 for 7 days, then he/she will be added with 20 questions of the day, and 2nd day user will get another 20 questions, every fresh day user account will be added with 20 questions automatically till end of the Challenge season period.

** This is monthly based contest, here month referred to be Calendar month. i.e., January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December.

** i.e., If subscriber subscribed to INR-49 pack with 7 days validity on 28th February but the contest season is closing on 29th February, in such case this subscriber will be getting the contest questions benefit till end of the contest period only and similar logic for recharge with INR-43 pack.

** Every right question will give 10 points to user and there will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
** The points scored by the Subscriber in a day will get carried over till end of the challenge period.
** Question content will be expired if in case user did not play all eligible questions on the same day, but those missed eligible questions can be played till end of the Challenge period.
** There would not be any charging for playing or answering the question in the Challenge.
** Every individual scoring will be managed separately for the Competition.
** Attractive prizes for higher scorers to lower scorers.
** There will be a black-out time for the Challenge every day between 11:55 PM and 12:55 AM. Black-out time will be the period during which the Challenge will remain closed for the Challenge Pack Members.

Challenge on WAP

** Challenge will be available on WAP for all eligible customers who get a recharge done for defined Challenge Pack denomination with recharge 43 and Subscription pack at Rs.49. The subscribers can play by clicking following WAP URL https://viservices.in/vilcontest_subs/

** The Subscriber will be getting questions one after the other till he/she finishes answering all the eligible questions for the day.
** Subscribers playing through WAP mode, shall get 2 choice buttons to answer the question and will then move to next question automatically.
** For every right answer the Subscriber will get 10 points. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer.

** After every right or wrong answer, the Subscriber will be displayed an appropriate information and will be given his/her updated score followed by the next question and answer options. If a Subscriber stops playing the Challenge after answering the nth question, then when he/she resumes playing on the WAP, IVR, SMS or USSD mode on the same day, he/she will be played the (n+1)th question.

Challenge on Voice

** The eligible Subscribers needs to Call 5040411 (tollfree).
** The Subscriber will be getting questions one after the other till he/she finishes answering all the eligible questions for the day.
** Subscribers can press 1 for 1st option or 2 for 2nd option on the phone keypad to answer the question.
** For every right answer the Subscriber will get 10 points. There is no negative marking for any wrong answer.

** After every right or wrong answer, the customer will be played an appropriate prompt and will be given his/her updated score followed by the next question and answer options. If a customer stops playing the Challenge after answering the nth question then when he/she calls back on the toll-free number 5040411 on the same day, he/she will be played the (n+1)th question.

** If the Subscriber stops playing further questions, then he/she can continue playing by calling back on 5040411, on the same day, to receive the next question.
** The Subscriber will be played the questions one after the other till he/she finishes answering all the eligible questions for the day.

Challenge on SMS

** Eligible subscriber can play this challenge through SMS by sending PLAY as an SMS to the toll free number 5040411.The challenge consists of questions with 2 answer options each. Challenge pack members can answer the questions by sending ‘A’ or ‘B’, as a response to the questions to the number 5040411.

** For every right answer, the challenge pack member will get 10 points. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer.

Challenge on USSD

** Eligible subscriber can play this challenge by dialling the Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (“USSD”) string *545*11#.
** The Subscriber will be getting the questions one after the other till he/she finishes answering all the eligible questions for the day.
** All the questions have 2 answer options each and Challenge Pack Members can answer by sending 1 or 2, as a response to the questions.
** For every right answer, the challenge pack member will get 10 points. There is no negative marking for a wrong answer.

Prizes of Subscribe Recharge And Win Challenge

** Monthly – 1st Prize – Cash Voucher worth up to INR 5,000
Monthly 1st Prize Winners shall be selected from PAN India (National) on fulfilling the Winner selection criteria, after completion of the Challenge.
** Monthly – 2nd Prize – Cash Voucher worth up to INR 2,000
Monthly 2nd Prize Winners shall be selected from PAN India (National) on fulfilling the Winner selection criteria, after selection of Monthly 1st Prize Winner.
** Monthly – 3rd Prize – Cash Voucher worth up to INR 1,000
Monthly 3rd Prize Winners shall be selected from each circle group on fulfilling the Winner selection criteria, after selection of Monthly 1st & Monthly 2nd Prize Winners.
