What is Britannia Hungry for Gold Contest?

The “Britannia #Hungry for Gold Contest” is a consumer contest sponsored and organized by Britannia Industries Ltd. This Contest will be open to every individual aged 18 years or above and residing in India. The contest is applicable for all selected range of biscuits wherein the Participant shall participate by getting any promotional pack. Selection of winners will be based on the points won by the Participants and the leaderboard of the games shall be the Winner. The leaderboard shall have three categories of ranks – Gold, Silver and Bronze. The Contest will be valid from 23rd of February 2024 to 19th of April 2024.

Applicable Brands of Britannia Hungry for Gold Contest

“Customer”(s) shall mean any person who purchases any pack of Britannia’s brand of biscuits which has the #Hungry For Gold Promotion on the pack, on the following brands;
i. MilkBikis Atta (71g), MilkBikis Classic (115g) & MilkBikis Regular (66.8g & 500g)
ii. Marie Gold (74.5g, 250g, 300g & 400g)
iii. Vita Marie Gold (61g, 248g, 400g & 978g)
iv. Bourbon (60g & 150g)
v. Good Day Butter (60g & 68g),
vi. Good Day Cashew (52.5g, 60g, 120g, 250g & 600g)
vii. Good Day Choco chip (400g)
viii. Nutri Choice Digestive (100g & 1000g)
ix. 50-50 Base (34.5g, 38g, 62.8g, 76g & 188g),
x. 50-50 Golmaal (110g & 200g)
xi. 50-50 Maska Chaska (40.5g & 300g)
from during the Promotion Period as defined hereunder.

Eligibility of Britannia Hungry for Gold Contest

a. This Contest will be open to every individual aged 18 years or above and residing in India.
b. Participant should not be facing any criminal/civil or any other legal proceedings which may prejudice the participation in the Campaign in any way.

c. Employees of Britannia and their relatives, and promotion agencies and their respective relatives their respective agents, distributors, retailers and any other channel partner, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

d. Participant agrees to share their phone WhatsApp number to Britannia/ Agency, as applicable (if not previously shared) for written/ verbal communications from Britannia/ Agency, as applicable with regard to the Contest. Participants who do not have a WhatsApp number will not be eligible to participate in the Contest.

e. The Winner needs to have a valid passport with validity till at least 1 st March 2025 , subject to applicable local laws.

f. The participants, upon request from Britannia/ Agency will have to provide their PAN Card and Passport (collectively referred to as ‘ID Proof’). The Winners will be announced post verification of the ID proof.
g. Demanding of ID Proof is a part of the evaluation process and it does not mean that the entry has been finalized or the participant has been selected or that the Prize is guaranteed.

h. Britannia/ Agency reserves the right to exclude any person from participating or winning the Contest on grounds of misconduct, misrepresentation, coercion, fraud, deceit or for any other reasons, as it may deem fit and proper. No communication in this regard from the Participant or his representatives shall be entertained by Britannia/ Agency.

i. It is advised and suggested that the Participants must ensure that they are in good health to take part in this Contest and enjoy the Prize offered if selected as a Winner.
j. The Contest will be valid from 23rd of February 2024 to 19th of April 2024 (“Contest Period”). Britannia reserves the right to cancel/amend/extend the Contest Period without giving any notice or intimation.

How To Participate in the Britannia Hungry for Gold Contest?

a. In order to participate in this Contest,Participantshave to:
i. Buy a Product
ii. Scan the QR code on the pack to land on the contest website
iii. Register using mobile number and other required details

iv. Enter the unique code and play the games, to score points. Contest packs which have an explicit call out of ‘more game plays with this pack’ have unique codes which will give the participants 3 (three) games plays of the particular game upon entering the code on the contest microsite.

Other contest packs without any game-play callout will have unique codes which will give the participants only 1 (one) game play of the particular game upon entering the code on the contest microsite.

b. Booster Points and Bonus Points:
i. A Participant can earn bonus points by entering last name and email ID. Participant will receive +5 bonus points for each details i.e E-mail ID, Preferred Language, Gender, State and City

ii. There are a total 5 types of games that a Participant can play. Different packs are linked to different games. Participant will receive booster points by unlocking and playing the 2nd ,3rd 4th and 5th game type. Participant can earn a maximum of 40 Booster Points

iii. Participant can earn 10 booster points against each game and in total Participant can earn 40 booster points in the entire contest.

Selection Of Winners for Hungry for Gold Contest

a. Selection of winners will be based on the points won by the Participants and the leaderboard of the games shall be the Winner.

b. The leaderboard shall have three categories of ranks – Gold, Silver and Bronze. There will be a total of 100 gold winners split across 8 weeks. Apart from the gold winners, there will be a total of 8000 silver winners and 40000 bronze winners split across 8 weeks.

c. The gold winner split by week is given below:

d. Participants who are declared Gold winners will be taken off the leaderboard and they will not be eligible to win any other rewards again or be a part of the leaderboard in the duration of the program period.

If a participant has secured a gold medal rank, but does not qualify the eligibility criteria of having a passport valid till at least 1stMarch 2025, will be disqualified from the contest and will not be eligible to participate again.

If a participant has secured a gold medal rank and also qualifies the eligibility criteria but does not wish to travel, will be disqualified from the contest and will not be eligible to participate again. Participants’ cumulative scores from the preceding week will be aggregated with their current week’s performance until they reach the Gold Medal rank for the week.

e. In case of disqualifications, Agency will try its best to fill the Gold Winner Quota for the week. Britannia/Agency will reach out to the other participants in order of their rank on the leaderboard. Britannia and its Agency will decide the total number of reserve participants to be reached out in case of gold winner disqualification.

f. The decision of Britannia/ Agency shall be final and binding on the Participant in this matter. Britannia/ Agency shall in no case entertain any questions, correspondence, enquiries on the manner of the selection of Winners.

g. Britannia/ Agency shall, at all times, have the right to exercise its discretion on the selection of Winners, in order to ensure equity and fairness for all Participants, as per the Terms and Conditions.

Prize of Britannia Hungry for Gold Contest

a. First 15 lac participants who complete at least one game shall get an assured cashback of Rs. 10. The cashback redemption link and code shall be delivered via SMS within 24 hours of completing the first game. Consumers will have an option to redeem the cashback as a UPI/NEFT transaction or as Amazon Pay promo code. The cashback will be credited within 24 hours after successfully redeeming the cashback.

b. The Participants who are selected as Gold Winners and who qualify the minimum requirement for the foreign trip shall be eligible to win
i. Economy return tickets between Mumbai and Paris for one individual; and
ii. Hotel stay OR allowance (Trip duration: 2 nights and 3 days) for one individual.
Above may be subject to change at the sole discretion of Britannia in order to maintain equity and fairness of the Contest

c. The silver winners will get a cashback of Rs. 100 and the bronze winners will get a cashback of Rs. 50. The cashback redemption link and code shall be delivered via SMS within 3 working days of the completion of the leaderboard week. Consumers will have an option to redeem the cashback as a UPI/NEFT transaction or as Amazon Pay promo code. The cashback will be credited within 24 hours after successfully redeeming the cashback.

d. The Gold Winner will be eligible for only 1 Paris Package (Air Ticket and accommodation) as mentioned above. Travel Agency shall be solely responsible for arranging the same.

e. No Winner shall trade/sell/transfer or create a charge or lien on the ticket or seek refund thereof.Britannia/ Agency shall not be held responsible for any such offence/violation

f. The Prize will be provided on an “as-is where-is basis” and without any express or implied warranty or guarantee concerning the quality, suitability or comfort. The Britannia /Agency, their associates, directors, officers, agents, representatives shall not be responsible or liable for any deficiency or any other dispute in relation to and/or concerning the Prize. Britannia /Agency will not entertain any claims whatsoever in this regard.

g. Britannia /Agency are not responsible for any deficiency and/ or defect in, or relating to, any product/service and/or the Prizes or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, bodily harm/ injury or death, in any manner whatsoever.

h. The image of the Prize depicted on the ads/posters/pack shots etc. are indicative only and the actual Prizes/ look of the Prize may vary from such pictures.

i. The Prize under this Contest is not transferable, can’t be traded, exchanged, sold, replaced or adjusted with anything including other prizes/ gifts/ benefits in lieu thereof, if any or cash except at the sole discretion of Britannia/ Agency.

j. The Prizes under this Contest are free of cost and the Winners are not required to pay for the same or send any money or share any Bank or Card details with Britannia/ Agency. Britannia/ Agency shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to the Participant if any money is paid, transferred or bank/card related details are shared by the Participant.
