1. Khadi Design Contest 2016 :

Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Rural Industrialization (MGIRI), a National Institute, functioning under the administrative control of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, is located at Wardha, Maharashtra.

Last Date for Submission of Design : 12th January 2016

MGIRI has decided to organize Khadi Design Contest 2016 on 19th January 2016.The theme of this contest is selected as NATURE. Application form and other details are also available on institute websites mgiri.org and on greenkhadidesigns.com. Participant has to submit all enclosures within scheduled time.

2. Stages:

There are three stages for this contest:
i.) Entry level :
Candidate desirous to participate in this contest may apply with application form, designs and fees,create a design on A3 size paper.The theme of design is NATURE.He/she has to also explain design by writing a story on a separate page in minimum 100 words.
** Only one design will be accepted by one candidate.
** Original hard copy of design should be submitted .
** Soft copy will not be accepted.
** Do not mount the work on any type of board .
** Pack the sheet in A3 Size well labeled envelope and submit.
** Entry fees of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) per candidate through cash or by Demand draft in the name of DIRECTOR,MGIRI.

II.) Designs Short listing:
Designs short listing will be carried out by a committee. Innovative idea and creativity are measured criteria for short listing process. The ratio of shortlisted designs to enteries will depend upon the number of participants at Entry level.

iii) Final winner design selection contest:
Final winner design contest will be held on 19th January 2016 at MGIRI,Wardha and all participants are invited for this round to present a vision on his/her design. There are three winner prizes for winners 1st,2nd and 3rd positions and two consolidated prizes. Winner certificate for winners and participating certificates will be awarded to rest participant.

3. Submission Procedure :

Candidate may submit design along with fees to MGIRI,Wardha upto 5.00pm,12th January 2016. Anything later will not be acceptable and there is no extension. Candidates should read the instruction carefully.MGIRI reserves the right to disqualify any incomplete entries.

4. Khadi Design Competition Schedule :

** Design competition details information to all fashion designing institute located in vidarbha through e-mail, post etc – upto 31st December 2015
** Submission of forms and designs by participants – Upto 12th January 2016 (05.00 pm)
** Shortlisting of designs – 13th January 2016 to 15th January 2016
** Design display, final judging, awards and certificate distribution – 11.00 am on 19th January 2016
