Short Film Competition :

The Honourable Prime Minister in his “Mann Ki Baat” on 29th July 2017 spoke about a Sankalp to make “Filth – Quit India”. On August 9, 2017, he also issued a clarion call to the nation during his speech on the floor of the Lok Sabha to embrace the “Sankalp se Siddhi” movement, and appealed to all citizens to play their role towards achieving a New India by 2022.

To help implement the Honourable Prime Minister’s vision, Swachh Sankalp se Swachh Siddhi Short Film Competition is being organized as another major step in making Swachhta a Jan Aandolan. Individuals are requested to make 2 to 3 minute films on the theme of Swachhta and show how they can contribute to the Swachh Bharat Mission.

Film Topic: My contribution towards making India clean

The short film could be made in any of the following languages – it is mandatory to use the hashtag along with the languages in which the essay has been written: #assamese, #bengali, #bodo, #dogri, #english, #gujarati, #hindi, #kannada, #kashmiri, #konkani, #maithili, #malayalam, #manipuri, #marathi, #nepali, #oriya, #punjabi, #sanskrit, #santhali, #sindhi, #tamil, #telugu and #urdu. In case of a silent film please use #silent.

Videos are to be uploaded on www.youtube.com and the link to the same must be shared on www.mygov.in. The awards will be provided under the following categories.

a. Age (0-18 years), #below18
b. Age (18 and above), #above18

Three winners in each of the above mentioned categories will be awarded at the national level. Awards will also be given at the State and District levels.

The last date of submission is 8th September, 2017 midnight.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The competition is open to Indian citizens only.
2. Videos are to be uploaded on www.youtube.com and the link to the same must be shared on www.mygov.in. Entries submitted through any other medium/ mode would not be considered for evaluation.
3. The awards will be provided under the following categories. Please indicate your category with a hashtag(#) as per given below.
a. Age (0-18 years), #below18
b. Age (18 and above), #above18
4. Entries will be received from 17th August 2017. The entry window will close at 8th September 2017 midnight.
5. The theme for the short film competition is “My contribution towards making India clean”.
6. The film can be shot using smartphones, cameras or any other digital recorder. Animation films, mobile films and films of any other genre produced with broadcast quality can participate in this contest.
7. Three winners in each of the above mentioned categories will be awarded at the national level. Awards will also be given at the State and District levels.
